About the Post Compose Pencil black outline icon
A pencil lies diagonally across an open rounded square, its sharpened tip pointing to the lower left and its eraser end past the top right corner, with the frame broken where the pencil crosses it. It stands for writing, composing and editing: new post buttons, blog and CMS toolbars, note apps, comment forms and profile edit screens.
The deliberate gap in the square makes the pencil sit in front of the page instead of on it, a small depth trick that survives at icon sizes. Use it beside trash, save and share icons in an action row, and keep it at 24 px minimum.
