Play Button black filled icon
Rounded rectangle play button icon with centered right-pointing triangle
About the Play Button black filled icon
A rounded-corner rectangle frames a single right-pointing triangle, the universal symbol for starting playback. It represents media control, video, and audio playback. Use it in video players, music streaming apps, podcast interfaces, and app onboarding screens.
A wide horizontal rounded rectangle border holds a simple triangle centered inside it, with no extra dividers or labels. It pairs with the play-pause, stop, and volume icons in the library. Keep the triangle centered when resizing so the button reads clearly at small sizes.
This is the solid black filled version of the play button icon: a bold silhouette that reads clearly at 16-24 px and on dark or busy backgrounds, and prints well in one colour.
It downloads free as an SVG vector or transparent PNG in seven sizes, and the free online editor lets you recolor it, apply gold, silver, neon and gradient styles, add animation, or convert it to EPS, PDF and DXF.
