About the Play Button black filled icon
A right facing triangle sits at the center of two concentric circles, the outer ring set slightly apart from the inner one to form a thin halo around the control. It is the universal start cue for video, audio and animation playback. Drop it on video thumbnails, podcast players, music app transport bars, tutorial cards and presentation slides that launch embedded media.
The double ring gives the button a raised, tappable feel and keeps the triangle visually centered with a slight optical offset to the right. Corners are cleanly mitered rather than rounded. It pairs directly with pause, stop, rewind and forward icons from the same control set. Works down to 16px in a toolbar.
This is the solid black filled version of the play button icon: a bold silhouette that reads clearly at 16-24 px and on dark or busy backgrounds, and prints well in one colour.
