About the Object Group black outline icon

A solid square panel carries four small corner handles, marking an active selection box, and inside it two overlapping rounded squares stand for several shapes bound into one object. The mark communicates grouping, multi-select and combined layers. Use it in vector editors, page builders, whiteboard and diagram apps, CAD toolbars, or any canvas toolbar that offers group, ungroup and align commands.

The corner handles sit just outside the inner shapes, so the bounding-box idea stays legible even at toolbar size. It pairs naturally with ungroup, align, layer and transform icons from the same set. Keep it at 20 px or above so the offset between the two squares remains visible.

This is the black outline version of the object group icon: even, monoline strokes that stay crisp at small sizes and suit clean, minimal interfaces, wireframes and light backgrounds.
