Hide black filled icon
Outline eye with a round pupil crossed by a diagonal slash line
About the Hide black filled icon
A wide almond eye with a large circular pupil is cut by a single straight line running corner to corner beyond the eye on both ends. The slash is the standard convention for disabled visibility, so the design reads as hidden, private or muted content. Use it for password show/hide toggles, incognito and privacy settings, hidden-file indicators, muted feed items and content-warning overlays.
The slash extends past the eye outline, which keeps the negation obvious even at list-row size, and the pupil is drawn as a plain circle without an iris ring. It pairs directly with the open-eye 'show' icon for toggle states. Align both versions on the same baseline so the switch does not jump.
This is the solid black filled version of the hide icon: a bold silhouette that reads clearly at 16-24 px and on dark or busy backgrounds, and prints well in one colour.
