About the Aperture black outline icon
Six straight-edged blades overlap inside a circle, each offset from the next so their edges spiral toward a small hexagonal gap at the center, exactly as a lens diaphragm looks when stopped down. It stands for photography, exposure control and precise focus. Use it for camera app shutter and settings controls, photo editor toolbars, studio and photographer portfolios, lens product pages and creative agency branding.
The design is purely geometric: every blade is a flat triangle or wedge cut by the circle, and the rotational symmetry gives it a sense of motion without any curves inside. The center opening is small, so contrast stays high. Pair it with camera, lens and focus icons, and keep it above 24 px or the inner blade tips begin to collide.
