Aperture black outline icon
Circular camera aperture formed by six angled diaphragm blades around a hexagonal opening
About the Aperture black outline icon
A perfect circle is divided by six straight blades that spiral inward and meet in a hexagonal opening at the middle, the classic lens diaphragm construction. It stands for photography, exposure control, focus and image capture, which makes it a natural fit for camera app shutter buttons, photo editor toolbars, gallery and portfolio sites, video production branding, and settings panels for f-stop or brightness.
The blades are evenly rotated so the negative space forms six triangular segments of matching size, giving the mark strong rotational balance. Uniform stroke width keeps it consistent with shutter, ISO and focus icons. It scales down well but keep it above 16 px so the central hexagon does not fill in.
This is the black outline version of the aperture icon: even, monoline strokes that stay crisp at small sizes and suit clean, minimal interfaces, wireframes and light backgrounds.
It downloads free as an SVG vector or transparent PNG in seven sizes, and the free online editor lets you recolor it, apply gold, silver, neon and gradient styles, add animation, or convert it to EPS, PDF and DXF.
