About the Aperture black outline icon
Six overlapping blades spiral around a hexagonal opening, the classic diaphragm of a camera lens, enclosed by a wider outer circle that reads as the lens barrel. It stands for photography, exposure control and focus. Use it for camera app shutter buttons, photo editor toolbars, f-stop and exposure sliders, photographer portfolio headers, or optics and hardware product pages.
The blades rotate in even sixths, so the negative space at the center stays a clean hexagon and the whole mark sits perfectly circular. It pairs with camera, lens and flash icons. Uniform stroke weight keeps the blade joins from merging at 16-24 px.
This is the black outline version of the aperture icon: even, monoline strokes that stay crisp at small sizes and suit clean, minimal interfaces, wireframes and light backgrounds.
It downloads free as an SVG vector or transparent PNG in seven sizes, and the free online editor lets you recolor it, apply gold, silver, neon and gradient styles, add animation, or convert it to EPS, PDF and DXF.
