Two rounded squares overlap diagonally: the upper-left one holds a Chinese character, the lower-right one a capital Latin letter A. Setting two writing systems side by side communicates translation, language selection and cross-language communication without any words. Use it on translate buttons, website language switchers, dictionary and phrasebook apps, travel booking flows and localization service pages.
The squares are equal in size with rounded corners, offset so their corners meet, and the two glyphs are drawn at similar visual weight so neither script dominates. It pairs with globe, speech bubble, keyboard and dictionary icons. Keep at least 24px so the character strokes stay legible.
