About the Tilted Sharpened Pencil black outline icon
A single pencil lies on a 45-degree diagonal, tip down at the lower left and a rounded cap at the upper right. Two thin lines run the length of the barrel to suggest its faceted sides, and the sharpened wooden point ends in a short lead. It is the standard mark for edit, write, draw and take notes, fitting toolbars, form fields, education sites, stationery packaging and blog author boxes.
The diagonal fills the square frame corner to corner, giving the pencil more length than an upright version would allow. Stroke weight is even, with the tip drawn as a simple wedge. Pair it with notebook, eraser and ruler icons, and align the tip with the element it edits.
This is the black outline version of the tilted sharpened pencil icon: even, monoline strokes that stay crisp at small sizes and suit clean, minimal interfaces, wireframes and light backgrounds.
