About the Star Favorite black filled icon
A five-pointed star sits inside a broken ring, and a small circle containing a plus sign overlaps the gap at the upper right. The plus turns a plain rating mark into a clear action, so it works for add-to-favorites buttons, wishlist controls in ecommerce, save-to-collection actions in media libraries, bookmark toolbars and follow or watchlist features in dashboards.
The open ring leaves room for the badge so the two shapes never collide, and the star stays centered and dominant. Pair it with plain star, heart and bookmark icons, and keep the same badge position on related add or remove variants so button rows stay consistent.
This is the solid black filled version of the star favorite icon: a bold silhouette that reads clearly at 16-24 px and on dark or busy backgrounds, and prints well in one colour.
