Star black filled icon
Outlined five-pointed star with even sharp points and an open center
About the Star black filled icon
A single five-pointed star is drawn with equal arms, crisp angular tips and an open interior, the most recognizable mark for rating, favoriting and quality. It carries meaning across review scores, wishlists, featured badges, achievement levels and celestial or holiday themes. Use it in product review widgets, app store listings, bookmark toggles, loyalty programs and slide callouts.
The geometry is symmetrical with slightly rounded vertices that soften the points, and the uniform stroke keeps the inner pentagon clearly open rather than solid. Pair it with heart, bookmark, trophy and half-star icons to build a complete rating set. It scales cleanly to 16 px for inline star rows.
This is the solid black filled version of the star icon: a bold silhouette that reads clearly at 16-24 px and on dark or busy backgrounds, and prints well in one colour.
