Sharpened Pencil black filled icon

About the Sharpened Pencil black filled icon

A pencil angles diagonally with a sharpened conical point at the lower right and a flat cut end at the upper left. Two thin lines run along the barrel to suggest a faceted wood shaft. It fits design tools, edit buttons, school and education apps, to-do list actions and blog CMS interfaces.

The outline is a single continuous shape split by parallel lines for the facet detail, narrowing smoothly to the sharp tip. It pairs with pen, eraser and ruler icons in a writing or education set. Works well as an 'edit' action icon at 20-24px in toolbars.

This is the solid black filled version of the sharpened pencil icon: a bold silhouette that reads clearly at 16-24 px and on dark or busy backgrounds, and prints well in one colour.

It downloads free as an SVG vector or transparent PNG in seven sizes, and the free online editor lets you recolor it, apply gold, silver, neon and gradient styles, add animation, or convert it to EPS, PDF and DXF.
