About the Pencil black filled icon
A stubby pencil lies at a diagonal inside a thin circular badge, its flat eraser end at the upper right, two cross lines marking the metal ferrule, and a sharpened tip with an exposed lead point at the lower left. The shape is the universal edit cue. Use it for edit and rename buttons, note-taking apps, drawing tool palettes, school and stationery listings, and design service slides.
The barrel is short and thick relative to the circle, leaving even space on both sides so the diagonal stays centered. The tip notch is cut deep enough to stay visible when scaled down. It pairs with trash, eye and save icons in the same circular set; at 24 px drop the ring.
