A round lens drawn as two concentric rings sits at the top left, and a long straight handle with a rounded tip runs down to the lower right at a forty-five degree angle. It is the universal mark for looking something up. The doubled rim gives the lens visible glass thickness, and the handle is noticeably long relative to the lens, which makes the diagonal read clearly at small sizes.
