About the Quill black filled icon
A long feather quill leans against a partly unrolled sheet of parchment filled with four ruled lines of text, the classic picture of handwriting before printing. It works for author bios, blog and article editors, publishing or copywriting services, law firm and notary pages, museum and history sections, and certificate or diploma layouts.
The feather is drawn with a split central shaft and a curved tip that crosses the page edge, while the scroll curls at the top and bottom to suggest thickness. Pair it with inkwell, letter and book icons, and keep the stroke even when scaling below 24 px.
