About the Pause black outline icon
Two short vertical bars of equal length sit at the center of a circular button, drawn as two concentric rings with a narrow gap between them. The doubled ring gives the control a physical, pressable look rather than a flat glyph. Use it in video and audio players, podcast apps, countdown timers, recording tools, slideshow controls and process status panels where a task can be held.
The bars occupy roughly a third of the inner circle, so the icon stays balanced next to the matching play, stop and record buttons in the same set. Keep the stroke weight identical across those controls in a toolbar, and reserve a square hit area at least 44 px wide for touch.
This is the black outline version of the pause icon: even, monoline strokes that stay crisp at small sizes and suit clean, minimal interfaces, wireframes and light backgrounds.
