About the Open Eye black filled icon
A single eye drawn as a pointed lens shape, with a large ring for the iris and a small filled circle at its center for the pupil; the lids curve symmetrically above and below. It reads as vision, attention and visibility, which makes it useful for show-password toggles, preview buttons, view counters, privacy settings and optician or eye-care sites.
The outer lens is much wider than it is tall, so the iris sits centered with even space on both sides. It pairs with the crossed-out eye, magnifier and lock icons; below 20 px the pupil tends to close up, so switch to the filled variant there.
This is the solid black filled version of the open eye icon: a bold silhouette that reads clearly at 16-24 px and on dark or busy backgrounds, and prints well in one colour.
