About the Eye black filled icon
Two long curves meet in sharp corners to form an almond eye, filled by a large circular iris that holds a crescent pupil with an open notch, reading like a catchlight. It signals seeing, watching and visibility, which makes it useful for show-password toggles, preview buttons, privacy and visibility settings, view counters on articles and optician or eye-care websites.
The iris is unusually wide relative to the eye opening, touching both lids, which gives the mark a direct, alert look compared with flatter eye designs. It pairs with the crossed-out eye, lock and search icons in the interface set. At button size, 20 to 24 px keeps the crescent gap visible.
