New black outline icon

About the New black outline icon

A round badge with a wavy scalloped rim frames the word NEW in plain uppercase letters. It marks fresh arrivals, launches and recently added items. Use it on ecommerce product cards, app store listings flagging updates, menu boards highlighting new dishes, feature announcement banners and website sections listing recently published content.

The rim is built from about fourteen rounded bumps of even size, giving a sticker or seal appearance rather than a plain circle, and the lettering sits horizontally across the widest part with clear margins. Pairs with sale, discount and star rating icons; because it carries text, keep it at 32px or larger so the word stays readable.

This is the black outline version of the new icon: even, monoline strokes that stay crisp at small sizes and suit clean, minimal interfaces, wireframes and light backgrounds.
