About the New Symbol black outline icon
A double-outlined badge with a wavy scalloped edge, like a bottle cap or rosette seal, carries the uppercase word NEW across its center. It flags freshly added products, recent features and just-arrived stock. Drop it on ecommerce product cards, app store listings, restaurant menu items, release-notes banners and pricing tables that highlight a newly launched plan.
The scallops repeat evenly around a near-circular outline, and the inner offset line adds depth without color. The lettering is set wide so it fills the center cleanly. It belongs to a badge family with sale, hot and discount seals. Because the text must stay legible, use it at 32 px or above and never scale below 24 px.
This is the black outline version of the new symbol icon: even, monoline strokes that stay crisp at small sizes and suit clean, minimal interfaces, wireframes and light backgrounds.
