About the Negative Sign black outline icon
A thick horizontal bar sits inside a circle drawn with a double outline, reading instantly as a minus or negative sign. It stands for subtraction, removal, decrease and denied access. Use it in calculators and quantity steppers, cart item controls, zoom-out buttons, finance dashboards showing declining values, and form rows where users delete an entry.
The concentric rings give the mark depth while the rounded bar stays centered, so it balances against a matching plus icon in the same set. Pair it with add, close and equals glyphs. At button size, 20-24px keeps the inner ring from filling in.
This is the black outline version of the negative sign icon: even, monoline strokes that stay crisp at small sizes and suit clean, minimal interfaces, wireframes and light backgrounds.
It downloads free as an SVG vector or transparent PNG in seven sizes, and the free online editor lets you recolor it, apply gold, silver, neon and gradient styles, add animation, or convert it to EPS, PDF and DXF.
