About the Mute Sound Cross black filled icon
A loudspeaker is drawn in profile as a rectangular body opening into a wide triangular cone, with a rounded cap at the back and a thick X placed to its right where sound waves would normally appear. The crossed mark makes the off state unmistakable, communicating muted audio, silence and disabled notifications. Use it in video and music player controls, video call toolbars, notification settings, TV remote interfaces and accessibility panels.
The cone flares to almost the full icon height while the X sits at mid-level, so the two shapes read clearly even side by side.
