About the Map black outline icon
A paper map is drawn in three accordion-folded panels that zigzag up and down, and a teardrop location pin with a hollow circle center stands on the middle panel. It combines the ideas of a printed map and a marked destination, which makes it right for navigation apps, store locator pages, travel booking sites, event venue sections and delivery tracking screens.
The panels are set at slight angles to suggest depth and the paper lying open, while the pin breaks the top edge so it reads as placed rather than printed. It pairs with compass, route and pin-only icons from the same set. At 16 px the fold lines blur together, so prefer 24 px or larger.
This is the black outline version of the map icon: even, monoline strokes that stay crisp at small sizes and suit clean, minimal interfaces, wireframes and light backgrounds.
