About the Location black filled icon

The icon shows a hollow teardrop map marker with a broad rounded top narrowing to a point, planted at the center of an elliptical ring drawn in perspective like a circle on the ground. It communicates place, address and pinned destination. Use it in map interfaces, store locator pages, delivery tracking screens, event invitations and travel booking forms.

The pin is tall and open with no inner circle, so the ground ellipse below supplies the visual anchor and a sense of depth. The tip meets a small inner oval where pin and ground meet. It pairs with compass, route and globe icons; at small sizes drop the ground ring for clarity.
