About the Located Pin Ground black filled icon
A teardrop marker with a wide circular cutout tapers to a point that lands inside a flat oval, giving the pin a sense of standing on the ground plane. That base ellipse is what separates it from a plain pin: it says a place has been pinpointed, not merely flagged. Use it for store locators, delivery tracking, event venue listings, address form fields and map legends.
The pin body is a rounded teardrop roughly twice the height of its ring, and the shallow perspective oval sits well below the tip for a grounded look. It works alongside compass, route and globe icons in the same navigation set. Keep the ellipse stroke at the same weight as the pin so the two do not separate visually when scaled down.
