About the Location black filled icon
A teardrop map marker with a hollow circle at its center points down into a wide oval that reads as the ground it stands on. The pair pins an exact place rather than a general area. Use it for store locators, map screens in delivery and ride-hailing apps, contact pages, event venue listings and address fields.
The ellipse gives the pin a sense of perspective that a plain marker lacks, and the inner ring leaves room to sit a tiny glyph inside. It works next to compass, route and globe icons. Keep the base ellipse only above 24px; below that, use the pin alone.
