A classic teardrop marker with a hollow circle at its head, tapering to a sharp point that rests inside a flat oval drawn on the ground. The added ellipse reads as a shadow or base, so the pin looks planted rather than floating - useful for showing an exact confirmed position. Fits map screens, delivery tracking apps, store locator pages, event address blocks and travel presentations.

The pin body is a tall symmetrical teardrop roughly twice as high as it is wide, the inner ring is centered in the head, and the base oval is drawn separately so it can be removed if a plain marker is needed. Pairs with compass, route and globe icons. At small sizes the ground oval merges with the tip, so use 32px or above.
