About the Key black filled icon
A traditional key lies diagonally inside a thin circle: a round bow pierced by a small hole at the top right, a long straight shank and two short teeth cut into the tip at the lower left. It communicates access, security, permissions and unlocking, which suits login and password reset screens, account settings menus, real estate and hotel booking pages, locksmith sites and encryption explainer slides.
The diagonal placement uses the circle's full diameter, and the contrast between the open round bow and the small angular teeth keeps both ends distinct. It pairs with padlock, shield and fingerprint icons in a security set. At list-row sizes the teeth blur, so increase the stroke or crop to the bow.
