About the Information black filled icon
A thin circular ring encloses a lowercase letter i built from a rounded vertical bar and a small detached dot above it. The shape is the universal marker for details, guidance and notices, so it belongs on tooltip triggers beside form fields, FAQ and knowledge-base links, product spec panels, alert and notice banners, and museum or wayfinding signage where visitors look for an info point.
The ring is drawn at a light weight so the letter inside stays the darkest reading element, and the generous gap between dot and stem keeps the glyph legible when scaled down. It pairs with question mark, warning triangle and check circle icons for a consistent status set. At 16 px, thicken the stroke slightly so the dot does not vanish.
This is the solid black filled version of the information icon: a bold silhouette that reads clearly at 16-24 px and on dark or busy backgrounds, and prints well in one colour.
