About the Information black filled icon
A thin, perfectly round ring encloses a lowercase letter i built from a short vertical bar and a separate dot above it. It is the standard mark for help and explanation, so it fits tooltips and hint bubbles, FAQ and about pages, form field guidance, product spec tables, kiosk and wayfinding signage, and app onboarding steps.
The stem is noticeably heavier than the ring, so the letter holds up when the icon shrinks, and generous padding keeps it from crowding the circle. It belongs with question mark, warning and check circle icons. Works from 16px upward in toolbars.
This is the solid black filled version of the information icon: a bold silhouette that reads clearly at 16-24 px and on dark or busy backgrounds, and prints well in one colour.
