Hourglass black outline icon
Outline icon of an hourglass with sand fully settled at the bottom
About the Hourglass black outline icon
Two rounded caps connect through a curved glass frame; sand has fully settled into a pile at the bottom chamber while the top chamber sits empty, with a narrow neck between them. It signals time passing, waiting, and deadlines. Useful for loading spinners, countdown timers, waiting screens, and productivity apps.
The silhouette is symmetrical with rounded end caps and a single wavy line marking the settled sand at the base. Pairs well with clock, stopwatch, and calendar icons in the set. Rotate it 180 degrees in CSS for an animated sand-flip loading state.
This is the black outline version of the hourglass icon: even, monoline strokes that stay crisp at small sizes and suit clean, minimal interfaces, wireframes and light backgrounds.
