A single plume leans diagonally across the frame, its shaft drawn as a continuous line that runs the full length of the vane and extends past the tip into a sharp writing point. Notches break the barbs on both edges, giving it the look of a quill pen. It works for blog author bylines, writing and note apps, publishing logos, literature course pages and packaging for soft or lightweight goods.
The diagonal axis fills the square evenly and the open barb gaps keep the interior light rather than solid. The exposed nib end lets it double as a pen mark, so it sits naturally beside inkwell, scroll and pencil icons. At small sizes the barb notches close up, so prefer 32 px or larger.
