Windsock black outline icon
Outline icon of a banded windsock extended horizontally from a tall pole
About the Windsock black outline icon
This icon shows a conical windsock attached to a tall vertical pole by two short tether lines, its tube divided into five bands and held out fully horizontal to indicate strong, steady wind. It communicates wind direction, gust strength, open-air conditions and site safety. Use it in weather and forecast apps, aviation and airfield dashboards, sailing, kite and paragliding tools, construction or road-work safety signage, and outdoor event planning screens.
The sock tapers from a wide mouth to a narrower tail, and the band divisions curve slightly to give the fabric volume without shading. The pole runs the full height of the frame, keeping the icon top-weighted and easy to spot in a row. It pairs with the wind, storm and temperature icons in the same weather set, and reads clearly from 24px upward.
This is the black outline version of the windsock icon: even, monoline strokes that stay crisp at small sizes and suit clean, minimal interfaces, wireframes and light backgrounds.
