Volume black outline icon
Speaker cone with three curved sound waves at its right side
About the Volume black outline icon
A speaker is drawn as a small rectangular base joined to a wide open cone, with three nested arcs of increasing length curving away to the right. Three full waves conventionally mean maximum level, so the icon reads as loud audio rather than muted or low sound. Use it for media player volume sliders, system sound settings, video call toolbars, notification preference screens, and smart speaker or car dashboard interfaces.
The cone is a clean trapezoid whose diagonals meet the base at sharp angles, and the arcs share a common center so their spacing stays even. Pair it with mute, low-volume and headphone icons to build a full audio state set. Keep the outermost arc from touching the frame edge, or it will crop at small sizes.
This is the black outline version of the volume icon: even, monoline strokes that stay crisp at small sizes and suit clean, minimal interfaces, wireframes and light backgrounds.
