About the Upload black outline icon
A broad upward arrow with a wide triangular head rises out of a three-sided bracket that reads as an open tray or container. The direction makes the action unmistakable: sending files out, publishing content or syncing to a server. Standard for upload buttons and drop zones, cloud storage apps, file manager toolbars, form attachment fields, backup tools and transfer progress screens.
The arrow shaft is thick and centered, and the tray opens at the top with short returns at each corner, framing the arrow without enclosing it. It is the natural counterpart to the download, cloud and share icons in the same set. Keep the stroke weight consistent with sibling icons in a toolbar row.
This is the black outline version of the upload icon: even, monoline strokes that stay crisp at small sizes and suit clean, minimal interfaces, wireframes and light backgrounds.
It downloads free as an SVG vector or transparent PNG in seven sizes, and the free online editor lets you recolor it, apply gold, silver, neon and gradient styles, add animation, or convert it to EPS, PDF and DXF.
