About the Thumb Down black outline icon
A hand is drawn from the side with three fingers curled into rounded folds, a squared wrist cuff at the left and the thumb extended downward. It is the universal sign for dislike, disapproval and rejection. Use it for downvote buttons, review and rating widgets, content moderation tools, survey answer options, poll results and error states where a choice was declined.
The finger loops repeat at even intervals for a tidy rhythm, and the separate cuff block gives the hand a clear anchor point. Everything reads at a glance even at 16 px. Mirror it with the thumb up icon so both feedback states share weight and proportion, and keep the pair on the same baseline.
This is the black outline version of the thumb down icon: even, monoline strokes that stay crisp at small sizes and suit clean, minimal interfaces, wireframes and light backgrounds.
Download it free as a scalable SVG vector or transparent-background PNG in seven sizes (16 to 512px), copy the SVG code straight into your project, or open it in the free online editor to change colors, apply gold, silver, neon and gradient styles, animate it, or convert it to EPS, PDF and DXF.
