About the Terminal black filled icon
A rounded rectangular screen sits inside a thin circle, displaying a left-pointing chevron prompt followed by a short solid cursor bar on the line below, the classic shell invitation to type a command. It works for developer tool dashboards, CLI documentation, hosting control panels, DevOps status pages and code editor tab bars or extension listings.
The chevron and cursor are drawn heavier than the screen border, so the prompt stays the focal point even at button size. The circular frame matches the badge styling used by other developer icons such as code brackets, bug and server. Keep the prompt strokes crisp by snapping them to the pixel grid.
This is the solid black filled version of the terminal icon: a bold silhouette that reads clearly at 16-24 px and on dark or busy backgrounds, and prints well in one colour.
