Surgery Scalpel Forceps black filled icon
Solid circular badge with surgical forceps and a scalpel cut out of the fill
About the Surgery Scalpel Forceps black filled icon
A solid round badge carries two surgical instruments reversed out of it: a pair of long locking forceps with ring handles on the left, and a scalpel with a curved blade and ridged handle on the right. Together they say operation and surgical care, not general medicine. Use them on hospital department pages, operating theatre schedules, surgeon profiles, medical training material and health insurance procedure lists.
Both tools stand upright and parallel, with the ring handles anchoring the base and the blade curve breaking the symmetry at the top. The filled disc gives strong contrast on light backgrounds and on photos. It pairs with stethoscope and hospital bed badges; at 24 px the fine instrument lines start to close up.
This is the solid black filled version of the surgery scalpel forceps icon: a bold silhouette that reads clearly at 16-24 px and on dark or busy backgrounds, and prints well in one colour.
