A trapezoid speaker cone with a small square driver box faces right and sends out two curved sound waves, all held inside a thin circular frame. It reads as volume, audio output and being heard. Use it on media players, volume sliders, mute toggles, podcast pages, notification settings, in-car audio interfaces and announcement banners.
The circle turns the mark into a ready-made button, with the cone set slightly left so the two waves have room to spread. Removing or adding waves is the natural way to show volume levels. Pair it with play, mute and headphone icons; 24px suits toolbars.
