About the Sigma black filled icon
The capital Greek letter sigma, the mathematical summation sign, formed by two arms meeting at a sharp central point with a straight top bar and bottom bar that turn down at flat ends. Because sigma is the universal shorthand for a total, it fits spreadsheet and calculator toolbars, statistics dashboards, formula editors, sum buttons in data tables, math courseware and engineering documentation.
The stroke is uniform and open rather than filled, with the two arms nearly equal in length so the letter stays optically centered in a square frame.
