Shuriken black filled icon
Five-pointed shuriken throwing star with curved notches between blades and a round hole in the center
About the Shuriken black filled icon
Five tapered blades radiate from a round center hole, each point separated by a deep curved notch that gives the star its pinwheel spin. It signals stealth, speed and ninjutsu, working well in game menus and achievement badges, martial arts dojo websites, anime and manga fan projects, Japanese festival posters, and costume or collectible shop categories.
The five-fold symmetry makes the shape balanced at any rotation, and the open center keeps the middle from filling in at small sizes. It pairs with katana, kunai and ninja mask icons; use it above 20px so the notches between blades remain distinct.
This is the solid black filled version of the shuriken icon: a bold silhouette that reads clearly at 16-24 px and on dark or busy backgrounds, and prints well in one colour.
It downloads free as an SVG vector or transparent PNG in seven sizes, and the free online editor lets you recolor it, apply gold, silver, neon and gradient styles, add animation, or convert it to EPS, PDF and DXF.
