A half-disc measuring tool rests on its flat base, with short degree ticks spaced around the curved rim, matching marks along the straight edge and a cut-out arc that forms the open window through the middle. The outer semicircle and the inner arc run parallel, leaving an even band where the scale would be printed, and the tick marks alternate short and long as on a real instrument. It sits well next to ruler, compass, set square and pencil icons. At small sizes the ticks blur, so use 32 px or larger.
