A rounded padlock shape sits on a wide bar filled with six asterisks, the standard way a typed password is masked on screen. The pairing communicates authentication, confidentiality and protected access at a glance. Use it on login and sign-up forms, password reset emails, password manager apps, account security settings, VPN products and data privacy explainers.

The lock and the input bar stack in a stable, bottom-heavy block, and the evenly spaced asterisks give the lower half its texture. It works alongside key, shield, fingerprint and user icons in an authentication set. At small sizes the asterisks blur, so favor 40 px and above.
