About the Scissor black outline icon
A pair of scissors standing upright with the blades spread open in a wide X, tapering to sharp points at the top, joined by a small circular pivot screw at the middle and ending in two large round finger loops at the bottom. Use it for cut and trim actions in editors, coupon and voucher borders, craft tutorials, barber and salon pages and tailoring or sewing sites.
The symmetrical open form gives a tall balanced silhouette, and the loops are drawn large enough to stay clear as rings rather than dots. It sits well beside copy, paste and ruler icons in a toolbar; at 16 px the pivot screw can be dropped without changing how it reads.
