A square diskette with a clipped top-right corner, a shutter slot at the top containing a small window, and a large label area ruled with three horizontal lines. Decades on, it remains the universal save command. Use it in toolbars of text and design editors, document management apps, form submit buttons, retro or 90s themed graphics and developer tool interfaces where write-to-disk needs a glyph.
