About the Pliers black outline icon
A pair of combination pliers lies on a diagonal, jaws angled to the upper right and two long curved handles sweeping down to the lower left. A round pivot bolt joins the faceted head, and the handle tips are rounded like grips. It stands for repair, hardware and hands-on work. The 45-degree layout fills a square frame corner to corner, and the slight gap between the handles shows the tool open rather than closed. It sits naturally beside wrench, screwdriver and hammer icons; at 16 px the pivot bolt can be dropped without losing the shape.
