About the Plain Flag black filled icon
A single rectangular banner with a gently rippling top and bottom edge hangs from the upper third of a tall, narrow pole that has rounded ends and runs almost the full height of the frame. The empty field carries no emblem, so it reads as a milestone, goal, checkpoint, country marker or start signal. Use it in project roadmaps, gamified progress screens, map legends, golf or race layouts and language or region pickers.
Proportions are deliberately unbalanced: the pole extends far below the banner, leaving open space at the bottom that gives the mark a planted, grounded feel.
