About the Open Lock black filled icon
This icon shows a square padlock body with a rounded keyhole in the center and a shackle lifted clear of the case on the left, leaving the right side open. It signals an unlocked state, granted permission or a removed restriction. Use it for security toggles, password fields, file sharing settings, browser status bars and access level diagrams.
The wide flat body gives the keyhole room to stay legible, while the raised shackle leans left so the open gap is obvious at a glance. Pair it with the closed padlock, key and shield icons. Use a consistent stroke weight across both lock states.
This is the solid black filled version of the open lock icon: a bold silhouette that reads clearly at 16-24 px and on dark or busy backgrounds, and prints well in one colour.
It downloads free as an SVG vector or transparent PNG in seven sizes, and the free online editor lets you recolor it, apply gold, silver, neon and gradient styles, add animation, or convert it to EPS, PDF and DXF.
