About the Oath black outline icon
A flat palm with fingers together rests on the front cover of a thick book that has a framed panel and a ribbon bookmark hanging below, the classic gesture of swearing an oath. It conveys pledging, testifying, taking a vow and formal commitment. Use it on law firm and court websites, civic and citizenship pages, onboarding or code of conduct screens, ceremony invitations and ethics training slides.
The book is drawn upright with visible page edges on the left spine side, and the hand is centered on the cover so the silhouette reads clearly inside the surrounding circle. It pairs with gavel, scales of justice, contract and handshake icons in the library. Use 48px or larger so the fingers stay separated.
This is the black outline version of the oath icon: even, monoline strokes that stay crisp at small sizes and suit clean, minimal interfaces, wireframes and light backgrounds.
Download it free as a scalable SVG vector or transparent-background PNG in seven sizes (16 to 512px), copy the SVG code straight into your project, or open it in the free online editor to change colors, apply gold, silver, neon and gradient styles, animate it, or convert it to EPS, PDF and DXF.
